Location : Studios-ID Berlin Germany
"The Intelligence Department Studios, built in 1985 and located within the former Operative Technical Sector building in the restricted area of the Berlin-Alt-Hohenschönhausen, was originally operated by the Ministry of State Security . At one point responsible for the development, production and maintenance of all espionage equipment, including wiretapping devices, cameras, camouflage and monitoring instruments, the building is now offering studio spaces for artists"
About the Project:
October 2014 - The "Berlin MetaPortrait" is a visual exploration of the city of Berlin. The result of the project will be a dynamic journey through historic and visual narrative represented in interactive performance, static images, street art and video.
"Bitte Betreten Sie Mich" Interactive / "The present day" Video
The first phase to this project is interactive participation. A blank canvas was taped to the walkway at Berlin Warschauer Straße station. In 30 minutes a random cross section of Berliners walked across it, leaving behind impressions of their footsteps. This effort to capture the fleeting impression of present day Berlin is the foundation of the forth coming images.
"Uber Slow Motion Performance Painting"
